We created Wilderness Hills Memory Care to assist those struggling with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and memory loss, provide them a safe facility, and facilitate daily care.
We assure you that our caring goes beyond simply being a safe place with a list of amenities – we welcome and embrace your loved one into our family. They are our residents, not patients. They are not our houseguests, but rather, we are theirs. This is their home, and it our responsibility to ensure that irrespective of their condition.
My experience at Wilderness Hills Memory Care may have only spanned 19 days, but those days were among the most challenging of my life. However, amidst the difficulties, I found an incredible source of support and care in the staff at WH. To Sage, McKenzie, Elliott, Alex, Casey, Vanessa, Fannie, Gloria, Trevor, and everyone else who crossed our path, I want to extend my deepest gratitude.Your dedication and compassion made a profound difference during my Dad's final days. Your unwavering commitment to his well-being exceeded all expectations, and for that, I am forever thankful. Sage and Jura, your promise to care for him until the end, regardless of the challenges, meant more to me than words can express. I know you faced trials that tested your strength and patience, and yet, you never wavered in your care. You both hold a special place in my heart. In the face of adversity, Wilderness Hills Memory Care stood as a beacon of hope and support for my family and me. Your team's professionalism, kindness, and empathy transformed what could have been unbearable moments into ones filled with love and comfort. Thank you for everything you did for my Dad, and for being a source of strength for us during a difficult time.Sincerely,Devin & Nikki Ostrander
My mother was a patient/resident at Waterford until her passing this past weekend The care, love and commitment she received from the staff was always so heartfelt It’s never a easy decision to place your loved one in the care of others but this staff made the process remarkably easy Thank you all from the bottom of my heart !
My experience of working at wilderness hills has been amazing. The residents are so much fun and it’s always great to see family members coming in to visit their loved ones daily. It’s always so clean and organized. The workers here are very pleasant and caring. I see myself as a long term employee here.
I work at the Waterford and have been welcomed with open arms. The residents are so fun and sweet along with the staff! The staff truly works like a team and are always willing to help each other out. Love being apart of a community with so much love!
Do Not put your loved ones here. My mom was there. We had to move her due to neglect, poor meals, physical abuse, and a night staff that would rather sit in their cars or watch a movie and play on their phones. The administrator doesnt have the knowledge to run a memory care unit comparing the residents to her children. Please if your love your family member dont place them here.
Finding the right assisted living community can leave you feeling overwhelmed. The good news is you are not alone. We will help you find the perfect fit, so you can stop searching and relax knowing you have made the right decision.
